This project shows how intelligent design and precise execution can deliver far more than the footprint suggests.

Working within a constrained rear extension, the aim was to create a light-filled kitchen and dining space with a strong connection to the garden—enhancing both everyday living and entertaining.

A large rooflight and full-width glazing draw natural light deep into the space, while carefully considered sightlines visually extend the room beyond its walls. The result is a space that feels open, calm, and significantly larger than its physical size.

At its centre sits a bespoke shaker kitchen, paired with a contrasting island designed for both function and presence. Clean lines, balanced materials, and herringbone flooring throughout create a refined, cohesive finish.

When opened, the doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out—bringing the garden directly into the living space.

Externally, the extension has been carefully detailed to sit seamlessly alongside the existing property, ensuring a cohesive and considered result.

This is a project that proves true impact isn’t about scale—but about clarity of design, quality of build, and attention to detail.
